A Memorable Weight Loss Experience
When you go through any remarkable experience at all, you do not hesitate in giving it away to everyone one you know; out of pride; may be, out of amusement;
probably, out of gossip; surely !!! I have went through a unforgettable weight loss experience and I am out to tell everyone one about it right now but in this instance its all out of care for all of you girls and ladies who suffer weight issues like I did once. Its all for helping you and avoiding you the trouble and the disasters your body may suffer undergoing a diet plan!
A good word about diets that is not so good
From personal experience, I would like to tell you that I myself have been indulged in too many diets that put my body into various shapes & sizes many times in my life but after a long while I started to realize that dieting spoils more than it cures. That is because it made me gain weight and not lose it. I was 64 kilos when I started dieting for the first time in my life and considering my height (1.62cm) that was not too much weight to carry around (my healthy weight ranges from 48 kilos to 65 kilos). The result of my diets after a few years was 85 kilos !!!! . See what I mean.
How did the weight go off !!!
I am now 58 kilos and I didn’t lose it by dieting, actually I accidentally lost it! How did that happen? , simple my circumstances changed, when I was fat, I was a student but after I graduated and got a job, I started losing weight because I got busy – that’s how .
At the beginning I didn’t notice the weight going off, but eventually everybody noticed and told me and consequently I used this accidental discovery and never let it go since then.
I spotted my problem & solved it without noticing. My problem was being too free without having anything to do (other than studying of course) and I killed my boredom by eating and eating and eating……I sometimes ate until my stomach ached and still didn’t stop.
Eventually curing my boredom with food has evolved another bad habit, that even if I am not bored and not hungry, my mouth got used to the habit of moving all the time. Being in the habit of always having something working in my mouth is more than just a habit, its addiction, yes just like smoking and drinking.
Smokers don’t only need the nicotine in their blood, they also need to move their hands to take a cigarette out of packet with one hand and light it with the other hand and they also need to do the hand movement involved in the smoking process. They got used to moving their hands up and down and into the ashtray five or six times and to finally put the cigarette out. So if a smoker wants to stop smoking, not only he needs nicotine withdrawal from his blood but he has to get his mouth and hands busy too.
The one tactic that you must know
Believe me, habit is the secret word that if you analyze it taking yourself into consideration, will solve a lot of mysteries and eventually will get you cured.
When I got busy, I didn’t stop eating, no it’s just that my eating habits have changed. After being able to eat and drink fizzy drinks all day long as the fridge was just a few steps away, I found myself eating just one meal a day when I got back home from work because there wasn’t anytime to eat more than that and during the day I drank Lots of coffee (just imitating working people around me) which helped me overcome my hunger lapses during the day and it also had the effect of limiting my appetite when it was time to eat.
I mean I could not believe it, being overweight was a nightmare to me and I did everything I could before to be able to lose any kilos and I did lose them but every kilo I lost through a diet I gained back double and triple until I finally gave up and now the weight is going off all by itself , I couldn’t believe it.
After a while I knew and realized what was happening to me and made use of it. In addition to that I also started to be aware of many other things that helped me lose more weight and maintain it WITHOUT, being on a diet.
I have categorized the things that I learnt and listed them for you, remember you don’t have to change all the mentioned habits, probably just one will make a difference but the more you change the more results you get. It’s all up to you.
In my opinion dieting doesn’t work and they back fire on you. All it does is make you more anxious about food and disrupts your metabolism. So, let’s assume that you’re ready to suspend your belief in dieting for a while and think like a slim person. How do you go about it?
