Want to cook your valentine a meal? Well, here are some recipes that will make this day more romantic.

Remember just set the table with some red roses in a vase , light up some aromatherapy candles and turn on some light background music.

Don’t use your kitchen dinnerware, get out your china, fancy linens and silverware and set the mood.

Directions:

Combine all ingredients except shrimp in a large bowl then add shrimp and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate 4-6 hours (overnight). Transfer shrimp mixture to a serving bowl and serve with toothpicks.

2. Main course:

Pasta and chicken match perfectly and they suit all tastes.

If you know your partner likes a certain kind of food then cook it for him on this special day.

Ingredients:

•2 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into thin strips

•4 ounces of cooked linguine pasta (thick, long strips)

•2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning

•2 tablespoons butter

•1 thinly sliced green onion

•1 or 2 cups heavy whipping cream

•2 tablespoons chopped sun-dried tomatoes

•1/4 teaspoon salt

•1/4 teaspoon dried basil

•1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper

•1/8 teaspoon garlic powder

•1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

Directions:

Place chicken and Cajun seasoning in a bowl and toss to coat. In a large skillet over medium heat, sauté chicken in butter until chicken is tender for about 5 to 7 minutes.

Reduce heat add green onion, heavy cream, tomatoes, basil, salt, garlic powder, and black pepper then heat through. Pour over hot linguine pasta and toss with Parmesan cheese.

3. Valentine's Day special desert:

This recipe will take around 15 minutes to make and it's delicious. If you want you can use different colors of food coloring or dark chocolate.

Ingredients:

•White chocolate (however much you want- you can imagine how much it'll make)

•Red food coloring

•2 tablespoons butter

Directions:

Melt the white chocolate and shortening in a double-boiler (or the microwave, if you're extremely careful not to burn!).

Pour onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or wax paper. Drop a few drops of red food coloring onto the chocolate, scattered around.

Swirl the coloring with a fork to make patterns (try to write out your partner's name). Once the chocolate is starting set (you'll know because it won't be so shiny), you can take a toothpick and cut out heart shapes.

They might look kind of messy, but you can clean them up once they're removed. Once dry, break up the chocolate around the hearts.
Happy Valentine's Day!
