Flutter on the First Dance

Flutter on the First Dance

Do royals have a ‘first dance’? Not sure when the tradition started but it’s a good one. The first dance has become as important as the cake and speeches when it comes to stand out wedding moments. Some couples go as far as having tango lessons or learning the whole routine to ‘I’ve Had The Time Of My Life’ or ‘Thriller’. That wasn’t for me, my husband and I swept unrehearsed around the floor to Andy Williams singing ‘I Can’t Take My Eyes Off OfYou’, not exactly original I know but we enjoyed it.

Who knows what Kate and William are planning but Ladbrokes are taking bets if you fancy a flutter. Apparently Lionel Ritchie’s ‘All Night Long’ and Elton John’s ‘Something About The Way You Look Tonight’ are joint favourites to serenade the couple’s first married steps (maybe in person!? We know Elton is attending) Sadly ‘DancingQueen’ by Abba is lagging far behind.
