Jealousy is definitely one of the most dangerous negative feelings ever. Maybe you would expect to talk about jealousy in relationships or between best friends, but you’re actually not aware of the killer type, and if you’re a guy, you certainly haven’t experienced much of it. I present you the biggest of all threats: “JEALOUSY BETWEEN WOMEN”!
It’s that shiny morning and you’re going to the gym, looking energetic and ready for some good ME-time. You step inside and Voila, you’ve entered the hall of radars. I think you would certainly be more checked out than entering into an FBI investigation room. Even worse, at a hairdresser! It’s like they give you that mix of evil and curious looks and you start wondering if you have something on your face or need to fix anything but there is really nothing! And then you wish that moment of the day just passes smoothly or you might just suddenly explode in the middle of the room yelling “MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS”! Or when you go to work or class, women tend to do it in two phases actually, observe then gossip in groups just about anything all day.
Not to exaggerate, but I have been on that other side where the observation takes place, but this time with the feature of voice comments. “She’s too thin, I bet she would look ugly in a tight dress”, “She’s fat, I wonder how she got engaged!”. And concerning the part of getting engaged or married, Oh My! You could listen to the most bizarre, sometimes threatening, comments ever. The bride would be carefully inspected from head to toe, as if it were a beauty pageant. Not to mention if the groom was quite handsome, they would start wondering why on earth he would choose her, and all that shallow talk about looks and beauty. Also not to mention the battle of guessing how old that woman might be and that DEFINITELY you look much better and younger.
I’m not trying to look like an angel here but come on! It’s really becoming so annoying everywhere! I think it’s that thing in us women, but with different portions. It could vary from getting jealous of Angelina Jolie on TV to the point of nagging real people in life and showing it to them in a quite obvious evil way. But you cannot deny how bad it can be sometimes…or maybe every time :)
So if you’re a woman, don’t let it control you, on the contrary, believe that every woman is beautiful in a different way, even you! Also it won’t hurt if you admit it that some woman is better than you in something you don’t have, and perhaps think how you can feel more satisfied about yourself. If you’re a man, don’t underestimate the hidden powers of a woman!
