Three years ago, the high end designer fashion brand Louis Vuitton installed beehives on the roof of its Champs-Elysees branch in Paris, claiming that hives in the middle of the city yield up to four times the amount of honey of those in the countryside.

Throughout 2010, more than 20,000 bees gathered 75kg nectar, but unfortunately the produce won’t be for sale. The designer honey called “La Belle Jardiniere” is beautifully packaged in gorgeous Art Noveau packaging that incorporates the LV logo subtly.
La Belle Jardiniere will only be given out to family and friends of the label, so don't get your hopes high.
