Egyptian singer Khaled Selim finished recording his new patriotic song "Ana Muwaten Masri" (I'm an Egyptian Citizen), written and composed by Aziz Al Shafei and arranged by Ahmed Adel.

Kuwaiti newspaper "Al Rai" reports the Egyptian Ministry of Interior was highly impressed with this song which aims to bring reconciliation between the people and the police.

Many workers at the Ministry donated part of their salaries for the production of the song's music video, to be helmed by director Yasser Sami.

The singer is also preparing a new album, where he selected one song so far written by Walid Al Ghazali and composed by Karim Mohsen.
