Egyptian singer
Hussam Habib says his new song "
Aala Sawt" is a message about the injustice and oppression suffered by
Arab people.
Youm7.com quoted
Habib as saying he postponed the release of the song so he is not accused of exploiting the revolution, and to confirm to everyone he is singing from the heart and not for personal gain.
The Egyptian singer explained he mentioned all
Arab countries experiencing uprisings in order to support them and encourage them to fight for freedom.
The song was written by lyricist
Mohamed Sarham, composed by
Ehab Abdelwahed and is currently broadcast on all major
Arab TV and radio channels.
Habib reportedly scheduled the release of his new album for the beginning of 2011, but delayed it in light of current conditions in the
Arab region.
