Ben Affleck is attached to direct and star in military drama Line of Sight.
The star is believed to be in talks with Warner Bros. about the new thriller. The action movie sees an elite commando squad on a secret mission to transport valuable cargo. The team must also deal with a global threat, and the movie will be filmed from the perspective of one of the commandos – like a first-person shooter.
Affleck will also act as producer on the project.
Joel Silver is backing the movie, which was originally written by F. Scott Frazer.
Halo: Reach writer Peter O’Brien is on board to customise the script so that it can be based around one character.
Affleck will begin work on another drama, hostage movie Argo next month.
Shooting will take place in Los Angeles and the film is slated for a 2012 release date.
Alan Arkin and John Goodman will also appear in Argo.
