But from the very first day the news about one of our favorite starlets’ pregnancy breaks out, we wait impatiently to see how their little bundle of joy would look like!
And here’s a list of 20 Hot Mammas who gave birth in 2011 –sofar-.
Miranda Kerr. Yes, we’re more interested in the supermodel’s hunky husband, Orlando Bloom, but still, she made our list as one of the hottest mammas indeed after welcoming son Flynn on January 6th.
Penelope Cruz. She’s a beautiful, talented, Oscar winning actress, married to…the Oscar winning Javier Bardem; this couple is by far my favorite celebrity couple of their generation! And despite keeping a very low profile of their personal life, news about her pregnancy soon became worldly spread, and on January 22nd, the charming couple welcomed baby Leo.
Eman Al-Assy. So she had a rough, brief marriage to Nabil Zanoussy, but I bet the delicate Egyptian actress is not even remotely sorry her marriage resulted in giving birth to a pretty little angel, Ritaj. The tiny baby girl was born on January 24th.
Nancy Ajram. The Lebanese diva is most likely one of the very iconic Arabian showbiz personas nowadays, girls even try to imitate her fashion choices and hairdos. The “Akhasmak Ah” singer gave birth to her second baby girl Ella on April 23rd, and dedicated a song to her just as she did with her first 2-year-old daughter, Mila.
Mariah Carey. So what she’s married to Nick Cannon who’s 12 years her junior?! Long as she’s happy, her fans are! The sexy cougar gave birth to twin sons Moroccan Scott and Monroe on April 30th.
Emma Bunton. The Baby Spice had herself a Baby! The former Spice Girls member welcomed her second son, Tate, on May 6th.
Marion Cotillard. Okay I admit it, I love her! She’s my favorite on this list! Not only she’s incredibly talented, super beautiful, and extremely classy..but she’s also French! The Oscar winning actress had a baby boy named Marcel with her beau husband Guillaume Canet on May the 19th.
Assala. The Syrian singing sensation possesses one of the most powerful vocals of the Arabian music arena. Married to director Tareq Al-Erian, she gave birth to their first twin sons Adam & Ali on May 27th. Assala also has a boy, Khaled, and a girl, Sham, from a prior marriage to businessman Ayman Al-Zahaby.
Jennifer Connelly. Another very favorite couple of mine makes the list. The stunning brunette, along with her extremely talented husband Paul Bettany (the sophisticated couple co-stared in the award winning movie ‘A Beautiful Mind’) welcomed their daughter Agnes, on May 31st. The Oscar winning Connelly has 2 sons, Kai 14, from a former marriage, and Stellan with hubby Bettany.
Pink. The pop singer and her husband Carey Hart were over joyed as they welcomed their daughter Willow Sage Hart on June 2nd.
Cyrine Abdel Nour. The breathtaking Lebanese beautiful artist gave birth on June 10th to her first daughter after 4 years of marriage, and named her Thalia.
Natalie Portman. Undoubtedly one of the top actresses of her generation, known for her bold artistic choices, and is the latest Best Actress winner at the Oscars, welcomed baby boy Aleph on June 14th with French partner Benjamin Millepieds –whom she met on the set of ‘Black Swan’-. The name is of a Hebrew origin and means leader.
Yasmine Abdel Aziz. As soon as cameras start rolling, she’d start acting goofy, and we love it! The Egyptian comedy actress gave birth to a son on June 30th, thus becoming a mother of two, Yasmine, and Seif Eddine.
Victoria Beckham. The singer turned fashion designer is married to one of the sexiest footballers of all time! The couple already has 3 sons together, Brooklyn, Romeo, and Cruz. On July 10th, the duo welcomed their baby daughter Harper Seven. The proud father David Beckham later explained that the name given to the little angel refers to Harper Lee, author of Victoria’s favorite book ‘To Kill A Mocking Bird’ and Seven, David’s playing shirt’s number.
Kate Hudson. After spending 4-5 hours in labor, the playful blondie gave birth –naturally- to a healthy baby boy with her fiancé, Muse frontman Matthew Bellamy on July 10th. The couple named their first son together Bingham 'Bing' Hawn Bellamy, they chose his middle name Hawn as a tribute to Kate’s mom, actress Goldie Hawn. Ms. Hudson also has a son, Ryder, who’s 7 from her former marriage with Chris Robinson of the band Black Crowes.
Cherine Abdel Wahab. It wasn’t long after giving birth to her first daughter Mariam, that we got surprised with the news of Cherine’s second pregnancy. The Egyptian songstress gave birth to a beautiful baby girl on July 21st, and named her Hana.
Jessica Alba. One of the coolest celebrity couples there is nowadays happens to be Jessica Alba and her husband Cash Warren. On August 13th, they made their first daughter Honor a very excited big sis with the arrival of daughter number two, Haven.
Alyssa Milano. If you don’t recall her from ‘Who’s The Boss?’ then you’ll definitely remember her role in ‘Charmed’. The lovely actress and her hubster Dave Bugliari became first-time parents on the last day of August with the birth of little baby Milo.
Mel B. WOW! It must’ve been a very busy year for the former Spice Girls members producing babies as Scary Spice also made it on our list of this year’s mommies. On the 1st of September, Madison Brown Belafonte was born, and her parents Melanie and Stephen Belafonte couldn’t have been prouder.
