We all know we need water and here are some reasons why men and women should drink more of it:

- Everyday the number of people suffering from cancer and heart disease increase and the lack of water is one of the reasons behind it. Water washes away toxins from your body and by eliminating the time and therefore toxins in your body; you eliminate the chance of developing such diseases.

- Did you know that water can help you decrease the number of times you visit the dentist? Apparently it does, keeping innards irrigates helps produce some important body fluids which includes saliva, i.e. wards off cavities. The buildup of acid increases the stemming of tooth decay, which is harmful for your teeth; however, having enough saliva can neutralize the acid helping you repair your teeth. Therefore assuming you are staying away from candy; having enough saliva in your mouth will keep you teeth protected.

- The number one obsession of men and women is losing weight and water is your best friend if you are considering dieting or working out. We are not only talking about the fact that water fills you stomach up if you are having the hunger alert but it also speeds up you metabolism. Studies have proven that once you drink 2 cups of water, it takes an average of 20 minutes to start your metabolism and once you get there you will burn 30% more calories. That’s one shortcut to losing weight you should try.

- Metal performance is also affected by the amount of water you drink. That was even news to me when I knew for a fact that dehydration decreases your short-term memory and impairs your concentration and therefore decreases your performance. Water also cleans the brain from free radicals which can damage your cell architecture and further undermine operation.

- Last but not least, the benefits of water don’t mean that you can overdo it and be safe. Simply do the math, a normal person loses from two to three glasses of water through breathing and another one through swearing and with the bathroom breaks and workout, your body shall lose around 8 glasses in total. If you overdo it, the sodium level in your body shall become unbalanced leading to digestive problems or even coma.
