Cynicism is bad for the heart
A study of post menopausal women has shown that different temperaments have an impact on the risk of contracting cardiovascular diseases.
During the research, it was observed that cynical women more frequently developed heart problems than those who had a more optimistic state of mind.
The data collected also indicated that pessimism brought with it higher mortality due to cancer. However, these results have still to be confirmed.
