Why did Lebanese artist Haifa Wahbi postpone issuing her new album in which she presents a special collection of children's songs, knowing that the album was supposed to be out by the beginning of spring? As she and her producing company had announced earlier.
This question was posed by the owners of cassette shops all around Cairo, major governorates and lots of Arab countries. The market was supposed to receive two albums for Haifa; the first is Baby which consists of a collection of children's songs, after the huge success of her song Wawa last year, the other album contains love songs mainly and is supposed to be issued by summer.
It is said that Haifa herself was the one who made the postponement decision in the last minutes before issuing the album, after she had listened to the advice of some of her close relations that she should merge the two albums together into one to be issued in summer.
The album would then contain a variety of love songs, in addition to only two children's songs: Baby and Naughty. Haifa had already tested the latter by broadcasting it on the FM radio station few weeks ago.
