Amr Diab sweeps Africa Music Awards

Africa Music Awards (AMA) 2009 was dominated by Amr Diab, who won in 3 categories.

Diab took home awards for “Song of the Year” “Wayah” (With Her), “Artist of the Year”, and “Best Male Act” (aka Best Male Vocalist).

He was also among the forerunners for Music Video of the Year “Wayah” (With Her). Fans of the Egyptian top pop singer swamped the vote.

Diab accepted the awards in a London event.
