Iglesias only joking about Kournikova split

Singer Enrique Igelesias has said that he was only joking when he said that his relationship with former tennis player Anna Kournikova had ended.

The singer previously told journalists in Sweden that he had split from Kournikova and that he was now single.

He said: "We've split. I'm single now and it's OK. I don't mind being single."

However, he later claimed that this statement was just a joke, telling Hello magazine: "It is the first serious relationship I've had in my life."
