Masked duo Daft Punk in DJ Hero

News that Daft Punk are appearing in "DJ Hero" has caused a ripple of excitement among gaming and music fans! And if we add that the duo, who have come to symbolise the French electro scene, have produced eleven new remixes especially for the occasion, there will be plenty of people ready to rush out and grab a copy. The game will be released by Activision for Xbox 360, PlayStation 2 and 3 and Wii at the end of October.

A trailer being distributed shows that the inimitable atmosphere of Daft Punk's live shows has been recreated brilliantly. As ever, of course, the group retain their anonymity. Even in "DJ Hero", it is impossible to make out the duo's real faces. Players will therefore find themselves in control of two masked avatars.
