Is Dr Dre getting lazy?

Dr Dre's fans must have almost had enough by now. He is pushing back the release date of his next album "Detox" yet again! Originally planned for 2004, the CD should finally go on sale some time next year. Seemingly to placate his audience, Dr Dre merely confirmed that he is thinking to wrap the album up by the end of 2009, along with Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, Nas, Eminem and 50 Cent. High society for a man who is fast becoming a ghostly figure in the world of rap.

When questioned about this umpteenth delay, Dr Dre cited a "lack of motivation". Perhaps the real reason is a lack of inspiration? Or just excess perfectionism?
