62-year-old Californian singer- Cher has recently called off her sixth show in less than a month, due to her asthma- related bronchitis.
Cher's publicist Liz Rosenberg has revealed that she got infected with “Vegas throat” when she was in Vegas for her sixth show.
"Cher looks forward to her return to The Colosseum early next year with performances to be announced soon.” a statement issued from Ceasars Palace.
Cher first raised to popularity in 1965 as one half of the pop/rock duo Sonny & Cher.
She also established herself as a solo recording artist, releasing 25 albums, numerous compilations and tallying 34 Billboard Top 40 entries over her career, both solo and with Sonny.
These include eighteen Top 10 singles and five number one singles (four solo). Cher’s recent success the 23rd studio album, Grammy Award-winning Believe marked an extreme departure for Cher, as the record was a sparkling collection of up-tempo dance tracks.
The album was a critical and commercial success, reached the top spot in Germany and the Top 10 in nearly every country where it was released, including the big markets US, UK, Australia and France.
