Amy Winehouses Christmas party

Amy Winehouse plans to throw a huge Christmas party before she enters rehab in Israel.

Winehouse, had had a rather public struggle with cocaine and heroin addictions and was hospitalised following a drug overdose last summer, plans to throw a massive Christmas party before she checks in to a rehabilitation and detox centre.

A friend of Winehouse’s said that the singer has agreed to sort her life out in the New Year,her team are sending her on a one-week rehab and detox treatment course.

But she is going to throw a party at her new flat in east London over Christmas; which will probably be quite messy.

Amy who has struggled to cope since her husband Blake Fielder was imprisoned on remand for assault and allegedly perverting the course of justice - reportedly wants to get clean before the Grammy Awards on February 10.

Amy who leads the Grammy nominations, by being nominated in six categories, is determined to give a dazzling performance at the ceremony in Los Angeles' Staples Centre.

Her friend also stated that things have got worse for Amy since Blake was jailed, and that she has been taking more drugs than ever.

Amy, who briefly entered an Essex rehab facility after her overdose, has worried friends and family with her erratic behaviour.

Last weekend, Amy's mother Janis begged her to take a career break and address her drug addiction.

Her mother said that early fame has overwhelmed her,  it's dizzied herand muddled her mind.

Earlier this month, Blake's mother Georgette also revealed her concerns for the 'Back to Black' star.

Georgette said: "Amy is still using drugs while Blake is in prison. She is using more cocaine and heroin now than ever.

"It's desperately sad and we're all so worried about her mental and emotional well-being. She needs professional help."
