Shaheen muzzled on divorce

Actress Elham Shaheen has refused to comment on news of her divorce from her well-known husband, a businessman, who owns a widely-known oriental confectionary. Shaheen said she insisted on divorce because her husband was reluctant to support her during her personal crisis following her mother’s death.

Shaheen has kept silent as she always did in similar situations – as did she when news of her marriage, five months from now, spread through Paparazzi, hosted by Ayman Nour Al Dein, and shown on Modern TV. Al Dein said news sources are numerous – and close to Shaheen.

UAE-based Al Khaliij was another source which pointed to another secret marriage of Shaheen to Lebanese businessman Ezzat Quraa. In this, Shaheen kept silent and her secret marriage might have remained so, were it not for Quraa’s inhuman treatment which made Shaheen’s secret marriage go public and she to admit Quraa as an ex-husband.
