The Stars are furious because of Elissa’s statements

A state of anger had plagued a number of music Stars because of the Lebanese singer Elissa’s offensive & sharp comments, Elissa’s accused of being an arrogant person who lacks respect for her colleagues who are even more famous & popular than she is.

Elissa, who recently won the award for best Arabian singer, organized by the Arab Artists Union and the Middle East committee's prize of music, launched a sharp attack while with her friends on the great singer Amr Diab when she pointed out that her last album’s sales came the largest in the Arab nation and that no one can compete with her.

That statement of hers got one of her friends referring to Amr Diab’s albums as the first on the top charts, so she replied that she is “the “Number One” singer in the music field and that Amr Diab should first terminate his differences and problems with the courts of Spain, which urge him to pay fines for the theft of Spanish songs’ melodies”. She then added that according to her own point of view “Amr Diab is a second degree artist".

Elissa’s statements and unjustifiable attack on the star Amr Diab is nothing new, as she’s been accused before of lacking tact and diplomacy in her speech about her colleagues which caused her a lot of problems, most recently with her colleagues Nancy Ajram and Haifa Wahbi.

 In an interview, Elissa classified the female Artists confirming that she considers herself to be the best romantic singer, followed by Nancy then finally Haifa.

It’s known that there’s a conflict between Elissa and Haifa after Elissa’s contract signing to promote a product for a perfume company which Haifa used to promote for. Elissa then declared that it’s the advertising company that decides which star to select for the ad campaign according to her popularity, stating that her fame beats that of Haifa and Nancy’s.

She even confirmed that she was the prime candidate for the ad and that she can never be nominated by any advertiser as an alternative for Haifa Wahbi. Haifa denied that when she said: "Elissa can say whatever she wants, I don’t care about the whole issue, it does not occupy my mind at all and I do not like talking about it".

When faced with severe criticism, Elissa always blames the journalists who provoke her with their questions knowing very well that she gets very nervous, and that they are often trying to spread rumors and get her involved in problems with her colleagues in the music field just for the sake of press controversy.
