Facebook - the movie!
Up and coming actors Jesse Eisenberg, Justin Timberlake and Andrew Garfield will star in the new film being produced by Scott Rudin, called "The Social Network".
The script, written by Aaron Sorkin ("Charlie Wilson's War"), focuses on how Facebook came into being. The famous online social network was set up in 2004 on-campus at Harvard and the film shows how success and wealth have changed the lives of the students who created it. Jesse Eisenberg will play Mark Zuckerberg, Harvard graduate and the brains behind Facebook (and now its CEO), while Timberlake takes the role of Sean Parker, co-founder of Napster and now the President of Facebook. As for Andrew Garfield, he will play Eduardo Saverin, who co-founded Facebook but had differences of opinion with Zuckerberg over questions of money.
Production work on the film will begin in October in Boston, before moving to Los Angeles.
