Natassia Malthe – From (Scream Queen) to (Style Queen)

Rising Hollywood Star ‘Scarlet’ hits fashion circuit and is hailed as the ‘Hot New Frock Star!’

Hot new Hollywood beauty Natassia Malthe, star of the eagerly anticipated TV series, Scarlet, has created quite a stir in fashion cities across the world and has been labelled as the ‘Hot New Frock Star!’

The former Norwegian / Malaysian model has been turning heads in fashion capitals across the globe in cities such as London, New York and Los Angeles and has donned some of the most amazing clothes provided by coveted designers, including Dolce & Gabbana, Escada, Elie Saab, Julien McDonald and Roberto Cavalli.

But ‘Scarlet’ Malthe has not just caught the eye of the established fashion houses in the world - she has also been spotted in designs from hotly tipped newer kids on the block such as Ashish, Gavin Douglas and acclaimed British designer Christopher Kane.

Her recent whirlwind tour saw Scarlet attend some of the world’s most glamorous events, including Madonna’s party with fashion house Gucci at the United Nations, New York, the Vanity Fair party with Burberry in London and the annual Elton John Oscar Party for AIDS awareness in Los Angeles.

Natassia first hit the screens in cult classics Skinwalkers and the movie adaptation of video game ‘DOA: Dead or Alive’ but was better known for her brief role in the blockbuster movie  Elecktra, from which she quickly went on to be known as the movie ‘scream queen’.

2008 is set to be an incredible year for Natassia. It has just been announced that Malthe 30, has been cast as the lead actress in the brand new David Nutter project ‘Scarlet’, the new television series which is set to infiltrate homes all over the world from April 28th 2008.

Nutter, who is best known for directing episodes of the TV smash hits such as the Sopranos, ER and Entourage and also creating pilots for Smallville, Dark Angel and the Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles.

Nutter is also credited for ‘discovering’ Hollywood starlets Jessica Alba and Jennifer Garner by casting both in some of their earliest TV roles. As a result, Nutter fans are eagerly awaiting updates on the top secret ‘Scarlet’ TV Series and are particularly interested in following the growing success of Malthe.
