Ben Stiller wants to star with Tom Cruise in new movie 'Hardy Men'. Rumors are state that the 42-year-old comic actor is set to appear in the movie - which is billed as a grown-up version of hit book series 'The Hardy Boys' - along with Tom, and Ben admits he is desperate for the rumors to come true.
He said: "I think 'Hardy Men' is something Tom and I would both really like to do."'The Hardy Boys' was a detective series for boys that chronicled the adventures of teenage brothers Frank and Joe Hardy.
The original books were produced between 1927 and 1979, and were also made into several graphic novels, and a girls' detective series 'Nancy Drew'. Hardy Men, which is expected to helmed by 'Night at the Museum' director Shawn Levy, is set to go into production later this year.
