In a press conference held today, Barclays Bank Egypt publicly announced the launch of its new Car Finance scheme: a benchmark car financing solution that has been designed to address the growing and dynamic needs of the Egyptian customers. ‘’ Barclays Car Finance Scheme represents a major step in our plan to expand the range of consumer banking services .

We see the large number of alliances established with leading car dealers as a tangible evidence of commitment to diversify its offerings to various segments of the Egyptian market ‘’ , said khalid ELgibaly , Managing Director for Barclays Bank Egypt and North Africa . In six-weeks time , since its inception , Barclays Car finance scheme evidence by facts and figures an unprecedented success given the very short span .

The service is now available to customers through a wide net work of leading car dealers and agents. The bank has partnered with each of them through an alliance approach to ensure diversity and reach to various customer segments . ‘’ our partners tell us that with the flexibility inherent in the scheme , Barclays solution highly appeals to various customers ‘’, said Bassel Rahmy – Head of national Sales at Barclays Bank Egypt . He also added that sensitive to consumers needs and buying behavior were seen to be the key elements behind this success. this is reflected in the four –hour turnaround time as well as the settlement period that reaches up to six years .

Barclays Car finance Scheme is built on fundamentals that were or chestrated to make it the simples , fastest , easiest , most convenient and best price scheme in the Egyptian market. This scheme is an addition to Barclays consumer banking products and services introduced based on demand. It comes in the line with Barclays strategic plan to expand and enhance its offerings to this segment.
